From the creator of Boogiezone, and owner of EPICENTER - Arts +Entertainment, Elmboogie presents GameChangerZ "TANTRUM" - Youth/Teen Competitive Dance Company! After twenty years of inspiring dancers all around the globe and serving as a communication hub for artists in our community/industry - world renowned Boogiezone will be re-launching its competitive dance company for the 2024 Season! "Tantrum" is expanding and is now open to all dancers between the ages 7 and 17 interested in representing the Boogiezone/EPICENTER community competitively!
With much anticipation and excitement, we invite you to be a part of this movement of dancers learning through true mentorship, passion and discovery! Tantrum members will experience hands on weekly training in Hip Hop and Urban choreography under the personal guidance of Boogiezone's founder - Elm Pizarro. Elm brings over 30+ years of dance/choreography knowledge to his directing. Along with Boogiezone's vast network in the Community and Industry, Tantrum dancers will also get to train under and alongside a variety of emerging and established choreographers.
Our competitive dance program is uniquely structured to go unmatched by any other. A formula for success that has been tested and proven over the years through our professional exhibition dance companies Breed, Entity, Offspring, Prodigy, Baneful Brew, Diamond Disco Dollz, and Boogiezone Armada, all which have helped to train and nurture so many of the Entertainment Industry's most sought-after talent today. We are ready to harness and utilize our dance resources and amazing in-house talent in a new and exciting way with GameChangerZ and Tantrum!
Boogiezone/Epicenter has always encouraged and teaches a positive competitive spirit - spreading the notion that competing is not just about winning. The process of preparing for competition, and competing itself helps to develop a positive mentality, a strong dance ability, versatility, and offers a purpose to work hard, catapulting an individual artist towards their goals and dreams.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you win or lose,but about how you play the game.

WHAT IT TAKES, TO BE A PART OF THE GREATNESS.
For a minimal recurring fee, Tantrum Company members will be offered an amazing curriculum - chock full of ridiculous hands on mentoring with Elm Pizarro, Company Directors Brandi Taylor and Erica Lopez, and additional training by experienced Faculty and outside guest instructors!
For kids, youth and teen dancers 7 to 17 years of age only.
All levels from beginners to advanced level dancers are welcome to join. The audition will help us determine which team you get to perform with.
Gamechangerz Tantrum Youth/Teen rehearses every Monday 6:30pm to 8pm and Sunday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm each and every week in a super-charged, supportive and safe learning environment at EPICENTER - Arts + Entertainment. Tantrum Kidz only meets once a week on Sundays from 12pm to 1:30pm.
Flexible Training. We know you are busy, and we are committed to working with your school and family schedule so that everyone is happy! Tantrum Youth/Teens will get up to Two (2) Dance classes a week with Elm Pizarro. Tantrum kids will get (1) Kids Jam class a week. All classes are optional.
Want to supplement your dance training by taking more classes? We offer over 30 classes a week in a variety of styles and levels! THE SCHEDULE
An opportunity to gain valuable performance experience. We will create several in-house events for you to participate in throughout the season such as Dystopia, Snow and Summertopia.
A chance to compete within the community! After a pre-determined training period, dancers will get the opportunity to hit the competition stage! We compete at major local events like KAR, Sharp, Spotlight Dance Cup and Showstoppers.
Being a part of Tantrum is affordable. We want to make dance accessible to all who want it, it's only fair. Ready to play?

The entire program and season is ten months long. We hold auditions in August and begin training in September. Our final competition is in June, and our final performance is an in-house show called “Summertopia.”

Teen/Youth Returning Members: $200/Month
